Overcome Sugar Addiction With Hypnosis
Train your brain to lose your sweet tooth
Lose your Sweet Tooth is an audio hypnosis session developed to address sugar craving right at the root - in the unconscious behavior patterns in your brain.
Sugar, sugar...
Could your theme song be ..'Sugar, sugar, You are my candy girl - and you got me wanting you!'?
It's not really a love song? You could say it's about how sugar can take you over, how the craving for sweet things can crowd out everything else, so that you can't even begin to think about what effect this addiction is having on your life, your health, your happiness.
And too much sugar in your life is probably why you're reading this.
The negative impact of sugar addiction
We all know the problems sugar causes for health, so there's no need to go over them here. You wouldn't be here if you didn't know how bad sugar is for you.
One less obvious side effect of sugar consumption is the 'roller coaster' effect. Taking in too much sugar upsets your body's built-in automatic blood sugar regulation mechanism and you swing between having too high blood sugar levels and too low blood sugar levels. You may feel panicky and anxious after a sugar hit, or tired and sluggish when the effect wears off, setting off a renewed craving.
But probably, none of this is news to you. The question is, how can you break out of this vicious cycle, quit your too-high sugar intake, and start to lead a healthier, more emotionally stable life when the stuff tastes so damn good?

People often think of sweet, sugary foods as a "naughty treat"-something that might not be great for your waistline but serves as a tasty indulgence. Whether it's a slice of cake, a bowl of ice cream, or some candy or chocolate, sugary foods are commonly associated with pleasure. However, as you probably know, excess sugar is far more than just a naughty indulgence.
Excess sugar consumption is strongly linked to a long list of medical problems, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer. That's not to mention the impact it can have on your mental health, inducing feelings of anxiety and irritability, and leaving you feeling constantly exhausted and burnt out. It's not just your teeth and gums that suffer from over-consuming sugar; the effects reach far deeper.
Astonishingly, the amount of sugar manufacturers add to everyday products like soups and breakfast cereals has more than doubled over the past few decades. For example, a can of soup that contained 2.6 grams of sugar in 1978 now has 6.4 grams-a figure that has more than doubled. Additionally, the same brands often vary their sugar content between countries. A particular brand of cereal bought in Spain or Italy may have significantly less sugar than the same brand purchased in England or America.
Why is this the case? According to manufacturers, it's because "some countries have a sweeter tooth" than others. However, a sweet tooth is acquired through habit-based on what people are accustomed to eating. Arguably, manufacturers are training us to develop a sweet tooth by gradually increasing sugar levels in their products.
There's also evidence showing that when blood sugar levels drop, our ability to resist sweet foods diminishes. In response, our brains naturally seek out sugar to quickly raise those levels again. Manufacturers exploit this natural tendency to sell their products, taking advantage of our built-in craving for sugar.
To counter this, it's important to check the nutrition labels on processed foods you buy, including ready meals, cereals, and soups. Look for products that don't contain excessive amounts of added sugar, which manufacturers often sneak into their recipes.
The good news is that your sense of taste can change relatively quickly. For instance, people who reduce their salt intake soon adjust and begin enjoying meals with less salt. If they later try something heavily salted, it often tastes overwhelmingly salty. They've effectively retrained their taste buds.
Similarly, there are probably many foods and drinks you didn't like as a child but enjoy now as an adult, proving that your taste preferences can shift over time. Hypnosis can make these changes in perception happen more easily and spontaneously.
By repeatedly relaxing and engaging with this process, excessively sugary foods will start to taste sickly sweet to you, and you'll naturally gravitate toward more nourishing, health-promoting foods. Over time, this shift will support your overall well-being and help you develop healthier eating habits.
