Harvard University's "Implicit Association Test" ⁽¹⁾ is a research tool that measures, among other things, the ways we are all affected by unconscious racial biases.

In one version of the test, people with no conscious awareness of it did have a subtle bias.

But the good news is that further research from this test found that these unconscious prejudices can be removed through something as simple as showing the subject evidence of the race they are biased against making a positive difference in the world.
