"I see my clients absorbing it and changing in front of me"

Once you experience using conversational reframing you will notice how clients response to it. It is very impacting and I see my clients absorbing it and changing in front of me. The course is easy to to understand and it has been very user friendly to make it part of my sessions. It made me more aware that people think in a metaphorical way and it definitely broadens their perspectives. I will definitely recommend this course to my fellow colleagues.

"Learning to use reframes allows the clients to 'see' a path forward"

Photo of Alta Rens

Conversational reframing is an essential therapeutic tool on many levels. For a start, it helps to build rapport with the client and this trust is essential to allow them to commit to therapeutic interventions. It builds an awareness of how the language we use can either promote or interfere with the client's recovery. Learning to use reframes allows the clients to 'see' a path forward, improving motivation and commitment to implement new ways of acting.

Alta Rens, Counselling Psychologist, UK.

This a such a thought-provoking, enjoyable and well presented course that you can't help but be enraptured and educated by it. The examples are so clear and insightful that you can immediately bring them (or the essence of them) into your client sessions.

"Course was a pleasant experience for me and reading the book in advance was helpful"

Photo of Tiberius Budulea

The course was a pleasant experience for me and reading the book in advance was helpful. I will integrate reframing in my coaching sessions and hopefully come back to you with feedback from a real-case use. If I get in trouble, I will let you know nevertheless. :)

I've recommended New Ways of Seeing already to some of my friends and I've started a discussion with my work colleagues about reframing. We've used it all the time in trainings (without knowing it is called reframing) and I think getting more of our trainers to take your online course will help a lot.

"I used one of the stories with my very next client the day after!"

Photo of Lesley Jane Sinnott

This course has proved so valuable to me since I started it, I used one of the stories with my very next client the day after!

I was able to complete it at my own pace and re-listen to it to refresh my mind, making sure I had understood it all. Full of useful knowledge that has helped me help my clients and will continue to do so. It also increased my confidence when I saw a shift in my client's thinking. Highly recommend it!

Lesley Jane Sinnott, Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, London, UK.

"If struggling with a client, spending some time thinking of a reframe is an excellent way to see the case differently."

Joan Anderton

Reframing is possibly something we all do from time to time but completing this course brings it more consciously to mind. It opens up the desire and therefore the opportunity for constructing reframes in social and professional realms. If struggling with a client, spending some time thinking of a reframe is an excellent way to see the case differently, then be able to share the new perspective with the client, thus releasing a new understanding and helping move stuck cases on.

Joan Anderton, Counsellor, England.

"I found the course useful for new ideas."

Lynda Roberts

Although I automatically use reframing within my work with clients, I found the course useful for new ideas. The book that accompanied the course is a great resource to refer back to.

Lynda Roberts, Hypnotherapist, Essex, UK.

"This course offered so many great ideas..."

Julie Perry

This course offered so many great ideas and, even though I’m an experienced therapist, I found it quite challenging which was fun as well as giving me a great sense of achievement when I completed the course.

"Despite over thirty years in the therapy field, I am always amazed at the realization I will never know it all."

Stephen Pinsent

I have just finished the course. Despite over thirty years in the therapy field, I am always amazed at the realization I will never know it all. At the same time, I am also so pleased to realize there are always exciting things to learn. Surely, I will never live long enough to know it all, but be happy to have simply continued to keep learning. More practice will undoubtedly help me become more efficient and succinct in replying to client's expressions of their perceptions using reframing.

Stephen Pinsent, Registered Psychologist, Corner Brook, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.

"I found that it has opened an interesting new door in approaching the "yes, but" or "the sky is falling" client."

Charlene Wolfe

I learned a lot from the Conversational Reframing Course. I found that it has opened an interesting new door in approaching the "yes, but" or "the sky is falling" client. I enjoy modeling conversational reframing, showing the client how to reframe their own statements. It is encouraging to see the client begin to reframe his own statements. I believe that is a sign that I am doing my job. Reframing can be used in many everyday situation at home and with friends.

Charlene Wolfe, Certified Hypnotist, Texas, USA.

"I would definitely recommend this course to any therapist wishing to broaden their skills base"

Dr. Gabby Eadie

The Conversational Reframing course provided me not only with theory, information and application possibilities but especially helped me practice and hone my reframing skills.

The fact that Mark provided me with feedback when I requested it, was an invaluable part of the course for me as it ensured that my reframes were on the right track.

I would definitely recommend this course to any therapist wishing to broaden their skills base.

Dr. Gabby Eadie, Counselling Psychologist, Klerksdorp, South Africa.

"I would highly recommend this course to anyone involved with professional change work."

"The Conversational Reframing course helps you to further develop your skills when it comes to creating shifts in our client's perceptions-which is a primary reason they come to see us. I would highly recommend this course to anyone involved with professional change work."

James Malone, Life Enhancement Hypnotist, New Jersey, USA.

"One of the most valuable and important courses I have attended...in nearly 40 years of practice!"

I would highly recommend this course. It has been one of the most valuable and important courses I have attended as a Physical Therapist (Osteopath) in nearly 40 years of practice! There is a wealth of genuine practical content. I believe the course was extremely good value and thought provoking. I believe for any Physical Therapist who wants to develop and improve their use of language there could hardly be a better course.

Hugh Ruxton, Osteopath, Shrewsbury, UK.

"That's it! That's what it's like!"

This course was really engaging and insightful. I've noticed that when using metaphors and imagery with clients, they tend to get more animated and say, "That's it! That's what it's like!" It is then easy to loop back to and build on that imagery.

I found the examples in this course are also a great conversation starter in groups. When we share a metaphorical story, they create imagery around it and discuss the meaning behind it.

Dee McCormick, Integrative Counsellor and Art Therapist, Dublin, Ireland.

"I even caught myself using some of the techniques on my own thinking!"

I found the reframing course very helpful in diving deep into how to move clients on from negative self talk or negative beliefs. There were many examples of how to take a limiting belief and use story or metaphor to shift away from it. I even caught myself using some of the techniques on my own thinking!

Kayli Larkin, Relational Coach, USA.

"I was overwhelmed by some of the stories"

I was looking forward to doing the Conversational Reframing course as I was familiar with reframing but wanted a course that would go into more detail in a way that was educational but also applicable in a real world context. I wasn't disappointed with it.

I was overwhelmed by some of the stories; I genuinely found them magical and beautiful, i.e. the story of the 2 monks is one that I'll never forget.

The tone of the training was informative and informal, which I think is a testament to Mark and the other presenters.

The course was excellent value for money and had a lot of useful ideas that you can apply. I have already highlighted the next course with Mark that I want to go on.

Andrew Healey, Disability Support Coordinator/Weekend Coach (Resilience and Solution Focused), Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

"Really good course for further developing the skill of using this excellent therapeutic technique"

I did the conversational reframing course as part of my annual CPD. It was a really good course for further developing the skill of using this excellent therapeutic technique across a wide range of contexts. The Q&A sessions were really good too and included very valuable insights from experienced therapists, Mark & his team.

Mary Spierin, Hypnotherapist & Counsellor, Dublin, Ireland.

"Fantastic and invaluable learning experience backed up by a wonderful, caring and supportive team!"

It is a super engaging course – so much so that it is difficult to stop studying as you want to continue to learn...just a bit more! I suspect it could turn into an addiction! Furthermore, being delivered in various formats, i.e. audios, reading as well as in short videos, it is impossible to become bored. It is easy to follow even for those of us less PC literate and smoothly navigates from one section to the other, while your brain spontaneously and naturally absorbs tons of information. Fantastic and invaluable learning experience backed up by a wonderful, caring and supportive team!

Alessia, Clinical Hypnosis, Psychotherapy, London.

"It was very powerful."

I was able to use my client’s own subconscious metaphors to help clarify and reframe the situation, while leaving the psychological door open to change the story/metaphor. It was very powerful.

Ann Taylor, LCSW, California, USA.

"This conversational reframing course was THE best and most useful PD I have done"

This conversational reframing course was THE best and most useful PD I have done (and I've done a Lot!)

Louise Richardson, Cunderdin, Western Australia.

"Conversational Reframing has helped to broaden my knowledge base tremendously!"

I'm a fairly new hypnotist and the Conversational Reframing course helped to solidify practices that I had already been doing instinctively, but now giving me the WHY behind the practices. Conversational Reframing has helped to broaden my knowledge base tremendously!

Kathleen Turek-Said, Hypnotist, Arizona, USA.

"I am so excited to delve into the pursuit of finding and mastering old and new myths, fables, stories and analogies to add to my therapeutic tool belt!"

I just finished this course and absolutely loved it. As a former school teacher and avid reader, I have a library of "favorite" stories I've read and reread with students, with only a few I've come to be able to tell well from memory. I am so excited to delve into my box of saved books to start memorizing these known favorites and to delve into the pursuit of finding and mastering old and new myths, fables, stories and analogies to add to my therapeutic tool belt! Thank you for the lovely explanations and examples to teach us how the use of analogies and stories along with other reframing techniques can provide a link for tweaking the unconscious mind's perspective in both hypnosis and in "casual" conversation. I'll be reviewing and using your examples as I learn to incorporate this method that has truly grabbed my "lover of stories" heart. Great course!

Lea Siebert, Hypnotherapist-Acupuncturist, Hawaii, USA.

"At the end I felt confident to use the reframing technique intuitively in a number of different interactions"

The presentation is excellent and for me the course was just right in delivery, length, and content. Each piece of the jigsaw leading to the next until we reached the whole complete picture. I particularly like the way that at the end I felt confident to use the reframing technique intuitively in a number of different interactions.

Madeleine Godinho, Call center support and engagement, West Yorkshire, UK.

"Taking this gave me a real confidence boost and awareness. I use it a lot with clients presenting with anxiety and depression"

I learnt about reframing in a basic NLP course and did this really out of curiosity. What the reframing course provided was something much more profound and gave me a deeper level of understanding of what reframing can do to alleviate many traumas. Taking this gave me a real confidence boost and awareness. I use it a lot with clients presenting with anxiety and depression.

Carole Randell, Psychotherapist and Counsellor, Whakatane, New Zealand.

"I really enjoyed the course and love that you provide us with the support that you do."

Thank you so much. It makes perfect sense. I really enjoyed the course and love that you provide us with the support that you do. It can be quite a lonely profession working as a therapist from home and its great to have a community to talk to. Best wishes.

"I learned many possible ways to help a client shift and learn. I would recommend this program to all therapists."

We were provided vignettes and had time to think about a way to reframe a client's statement to change it from negative to positive. Being able to read the ideas of several other counselors was very helpful. I learned many possible ways to help a client shift and learn. I would recommend this program to all therapists.

Beverly Mason

"An excellent course."

An excellent course. Focuses upon the importance of frames and context in order to facilitate new ways forward that are all too often unconscious and sometimes overlooked.

Sid Oliver, Independent M/H Social Worker & Therapist, SE.England, UK.
