Can I accidently trigger a hypnotic anchor?

I have purchased the Instant Hypnosis download and listened to it. The question is: How do I prevent myself from accidentally triggering the anchor and entering into the deep hypnotic state when I am doing a task that requires concentration? For example when driving I would not like to accidentally go into a deep trance. Is this something that the unconscious mind would automatically block if the anchor was triggered, or is it the fact that the trigger requires multiple separate anchors plus intention to go into the deep trance state or what would prevent accidental deep hypnotic states?

Mark says...

A very good question. The unconscious mind is primarily there for survival - to keep us safe. So the guiding part of the mind, the same part that makes us hyper alert during danger or hyper focussed during new and unexpected experiences, will stop this happening. People can lose focus when driving on long straight roads through monotony but we've never heard of anyone spontaneously flipping into a deep trance state that is at odds with the driving experience. Also, when you are applying the anchor originally, as you said, it is created for specific situations. We all have thousands of natural anchors brought about through all the different kinds of learning in life. You have an automatic anchor (I'm guessing) to raise your hand when a person you've just met goes to shake your hand. This anchor is unlikely to be triggered in the absence of said new person when you are, say, driving alone. I hope this makes sense Smile
