Post Menopause Belly

Anonymous's picture

Hello,

I've come out of menopause with quite a bit of weight gain, even though I reduced my food intake as instructed by my doctor.

Having tried the eat less/move more approach without any results, I'm afraid that the people who say menopausal weight gain is different are right. My body doesn't seem to work the same way it used to and a caloric deficit doesn't translate into fat burning.

I have seen that you have something about positive menopause and hot flashes and of course a lot of things about eating less or healthier; but is there an audio that tells the body to start producing the right hormones again (not a specialist, but thinking HGH among others) and to get out of fat storing mode again?

(There's a connection to stress hormones from what I read, the lack in estrogen making it easy for cortisol to take over and also making it more likely for exercise to result in an overabundance of stress hormones instead of burning them off.) Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

While none of our sessions specifically try to adjust hormone production, below you'll find links to a few sessions that should help.

Best wishes,
