Consciously relaxing or meditation causes tension

Whenever I purposefully use a relaxation technique, mindfulness, or meditation a ‘knot’ of tension forms in my stomach. Often this is accompanied by a sense of anxiety, dread, or restlessness.

I am an experienced meditator and have been using self-hypnosis for many years, but have never shaken off this problem.

I would love to know if you have something I can use to help me feel comfortable with deliberate relaxation and meditation.

I hope you find the suggested download below helpful. You might also practice reminding your unconscious mind and body that they can release ALL tension in the body and relax throughout.
