Sleeping in the dark

Anonymous's picture

I'm 33 years old and I still sleep with my light on. The only time I could sleep without it was when I was in a relationship (when my boyfriend was sleeping next to me). When I'm alone - no way! I get a feeling someone (or something) is in the room, watching me and getting ready to hurt me and I get overrun by panic. A few times, I have even managed to fall asleep in the dark, but every time I woke up in the middle of the night, completely panicking, frantically searching for the light switch. I'm a generally anxious person (I was house bound by severe social anxiety for quite a few years) but I have managed to resolve a lot of my problems. This one just doesn't want to go away and I would love to just be able to sleep like a normal person.

Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

I've tagged a few downloads below for you and we also have a new download coming out in July called 'Waking Up in the Night' that might interest you, so keep an eye out for it.

Best wishes,
