None of us exist in a vacuum and neither do our personality traits. Our senses of self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence are all connected and if you improve any one of them, the others will naturally lift as a positive 'side effect'.
So there's no 'wrong' place to get started working on improving yourself. Pick whatever feels like the strongest need to you and start there.
