Did
you ever think of using vertigo exercise to get rid of that
dizzy feeling? Vertigo is a sensation that everything around
you is moving, but it really isn’t. It is usually connected
to an inner ear problem. Vertigo exercises can help with this
problem, which is extremely annoying for those suffering from
it and can often be debilitating. If you decide to try vertigo
exercise, be sure to have someone with you in case you get
dizzy and fall.
A vertigo exercise can be done while reclining, sitting
up or when walking. The Brant-Doroff exercise for vertigo
is one way you can speed up the healing process and bring
an end to the symptoms. The steps in this procedure are:
1. Sit on the edge of the bed and lean quickly to the side
that is causing the most symptoms of vertigo.
2. Remain in this position for 30 seconds or until the vertigo
goes away if it is less than that amount of time.
3. Sit up. If symptoms reappear, wait until they subside.
Repeat the procedure on the other side.
This vertigo exercise should be done at least 20 times a
day.
Another exercise you can do is to turn in place. Place
the chair in front of you and have a wall behind you so
you can use either of them for support.
1. Stand with you feet slightly apart and with your arms
by your sides.
2. Turn a half-circle and stop for 10 seconds. If there
is any dizziness, wait until it subsides.
3. Repeat this exercise 5 times, twice a day.
