I hope this finds you well and thriving. First up this month is a free Audio Insight. Titled How to Cultivate a Sense of Wellbeing in Everyday Life, it will give you some ideas from the Human Givens psychology framework on what makes a life meaningful and enjoyable. And more importantly, what you can do today to start moving things more in that direction. You can listen to it here.
Moving on to our new scripts for July, we begin with Overcome Social Withdrawal. Originally a Japanese phenomenon whereby young people, most commonly young males, Hikikomori involves complete isolation from the world. The recent lockdowns have undoubtedly made this problem more prevalent and we were asked by a worried parent to make a session for the topic. Hopefully we've been able to do something that will help.
The next script was one we could identify with, having spent many years travelling around the country delivering presentations to groups. We are only too familiar with that breath-holding moment when you first switch on the laptop or projector, and the sinking feeling when nothing happens. For some, this can become a serious challenge, and so we've created Overcome Fear of Technology Failing. One for the training road warriors!
The final new script for this month is Overcome Pap/Smear Test Anxiety and we have also upgraded Stop Compulsive Lying, which was originally created well over a decade ago!
