If you need help conquering your fear of flying, you're not alone. Ever since the
terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, fear of flying has increased, some
experts believe, to over 25 million people. But no matter what you hear on the news,
flying is still very safe; in fact, it is much safer than driving and with the speed
of our technological developments, it's getting safer all the time.
Fear of flying is a phobia, which means it is an irrational fear that isn't based in
reality. It's rational to be a little nervous about flying, especially if it's your
first time, but it's irrational to break into a cold sweat or throw up every time you
hear about a plane crash. Phobias reside in our unconscious mind, so if you tell your
conscious mind there is nothing to fear, your unconscious mind just doesn't get it.
What you have to do if you need help conquering your fear of flying is get into your
unconscious mind and change those thought patterns that cause your irrational fear.
You can do this through hypnosis. When you are in a deeply relaxed state, your
unconscious mind is wide open to whatever you want to tell it. If you suggest over
and over that there is no reason to fear flying, your unconscious mind will believe
it. You will come out of your relaxed state feeling more at peace and your fear will
be gone.
Use hypnosis to conquer your fear of flying!
