Two Reasons to Quit Smokeing Right Now

It can be very difficult to quit smokeing, as you probably know if you've already tried before. There are very few smokers out there who don't want to quit, so you are far from alone in your struggle. If you don't have enough reasons to quit, here are a couple more to get you motivated.

Ask yourself if the fantasy matches up to reality. Imagine yourself taking out your favorite brand, holding it to your lips, lighting it, and taking a puff. You look sexy and sophisticated. Feels great, right? In your fantasy, maybe, but in real life, does smokeing really feel great? Your lungs feel tight, you have that hacking cough that marks you as a chronic smoker, and you stink. Your complexion is bad and your teeth are yellow. Can you acknowledge that this is your reality and it isn't at all great?

If you quit smokeing, you'll be more productive. Think about all the times you said, "Just one more cigarette and I'll get to work." Or the times you sat having a cigarette when you could have had that project done already. We use smokeing as a way to postpone doing things, but time is not unlimited. Your time to accomplish whatever it is you want to do will end, maybe sooner than later if you don't quit smokeing. You can get a lot more done and manage your time better if you take smokeing out of the equation.
