Newcomer seeking community feedback on 'hypnosis downloads' products

Hi there everyone,

I would like to solicit the user community's view here on how effective they find the hypnosis downloads and the 10 step programs?

Do these products really allow a layman to access and re-program their subconscious conditioning effectively?

In particular I would like to get an approximate feel for the following:

i) How much time do these sessions take per day?

ii) How often do they need to be repeated per week?

iii) When can you expect to notice first results?

iv) Do the results have permanence or do you have to apply the hypnosis sessions for a particular problem area over and over again?

v) I believe myself to be pretty level headed, hard to delude et.c. How easy is it enter the hypnotic trance state, on your own, just with the help of these downloads?

vii) Has anyone tried the 'Uncommon Hypnosis' course. How difficult and time consuming is it  and can it be used to tackle 'custom' problem areas that the user has  identified by themselves.

Hi there,

Thank you for your questions. I'll leave your first question about the efficacy of the 10-Step packs open to the community. :) Speaking personally, I've been using many individual programs on this site nearly ten years now (for two years before I started doing any work for the company) and found them very effective for a variety of things.

Yes, because the session is designed and recorded by qualified hypnotherapists with decades of experience between them, so you don't need any experience to use them. Just sit back, listen, and relax. Please see: Is listening to a download as effective as actually going to a hypnotherapist?

"i) How much time do these sessions take per day? ii) How often do they need to be repeated per week? iii) When can you expect to notice first results?"

You can listen to your hypnosis download as often as you like, although once a day is usually fine. And the majority of our sessions range between 20 and 30 minutes, so you don't need to take much time per day to start seeing positive changes. We generally recommend listening to a session every day for the first week, then as often as you like after that. If you're looking for a specific outcome, it is best to continue until you start noticing the differences you are looking for.

Results vary for everyone so it is difficult to give you an exact answer as to when you'll start noticing a difference - some people notice an improvement straight away, whilst others have to listen for longer to start seeing improvements.

The important thing is to keep focused on the outcome you are looking for, which your download will help you do. That way, your unconscious mind gets a clear message about what it is you want.

Very. There is no trickery or deception involved in therapeutic hypnosis. And in fact, studies have shown that more intelligent people more readily go into trance, because they have powerful imaginations. The beginning of our downloads will help you activate your natural relaxation response, triggered by the parasympathetic nervous system, just as you do on your own when you're relaxing in a bath or falling asleep at night.

I did, years before it was revamped and called 'Uncommon Hypnosis'. How time-consuming it is depends on how long it takes you to read, watch, and listen to the materials, how many times you want to review it, and so on. It's not difficult at all and provides a lot of interesting information. And yes, the goal of the course is to teach you how to use self-hypnosis to help yourself with whatever you want to improve in your life.
