Recovering from emotional affair

Hi
My husband was seeing a woman from his work, mostly platonic but sort of a fantasy/comfort affair. I was too busy with work to notice. We almost split over it and were both absolutely devastated as we realised how much we love each other. Our relationship now is fantastic, but my husband feels so guilty about the past he is trying too hard to please me all the time. A few times recently he hasn't been able to make love to me where he feels so ashamed of himself. I then feel rejected and hurt. Thank you.
