Hi

2009's first audio insight will stop you in your tracks!

And so into 2009! Drum roll. and, as we start the penultimate year of the first decade of the 21st century (I like to state things grandly sometimes :) ), we are very proud to present a mind-zapping new audio insight for you. It's called Environmental influence: how your surroundings sway you. This astonishing audio cites recent research that shows that although we think we're in control, we can be influenced by factors too slight for us to notice. I am certain it will stop you in your tracks. It did me.

The new Download Upgrade program

And. wait for it. the new. improved. classic. re-released download. Overcome shyness and social anxiety! We are certain this new version is going to be even more powerfully effective than ever - so Happy New Year!

Through carrying out this 'upgrade' program we aim to ensure that the standard of our downloads keeps pace with new knowledge and understandings. All the best,

Mark and the HypnosisDownloads.com Team

Downloads Unwrapped

What makes the difference between extraordinary and ordinary, between average and excellent, mediocre and wonderful?

Too narrow a view of failure?

People who think too narrowly about success and failure tend to see 'failure' as complete and absolute - and so fail at being successful. People who succeed too quickly may crash and burn on new found wealth and status, and people who take failure too hard tend to give up too quickly. Failure and success are comparative terms that are often treated as absolutes: 'I'm a failure', 'she's a success!' But, as the saying goes: 'Who never failed at anything never tried anything.' Absolutist or 'black and white' thinking of this kind also drives depression and the self damaging perfectionism which can contribute to depression. It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.

This month's new Dealing with failure download deals with improving one's response to failure because, if we use failure and respond to it well, not only can it make us stronger and wiser but it can drive us on to greater heights than we would have achieved had we not failed at all.

The devil may be in the detail - but so is success

Of course, an important part of success in anything is Attention to detail - another of this month's new sessions. The people who successfully bring their dreams to fruition are those who can both envisage the possible (even when others deem it impossible) and be self-disciplined and patient enough to focus down on the details necessary to work towards the greater goal. Attention to detail means being able to go without the excitement buzz of fantasy for a while in order to tie up all the loose ends of a project. Great enterprises require detailed focus as well as grand thinking if they are ever to achieve success.

This session helps to stop the 'addiction to excitement' that can sabotage focus on the vital but 'dull' detail. Yes, we need excitement to fuel the enterprise, but we need to be able to oscillate between excited vision and calm detached detail focus to really create our goals.

Amazing fact: seeing the best in others overcomes perfectionism!

I already mentioned the pitfalls of perfectionism when it comes to ideas of success and failure. See the best in others also addresses perfectionism, but this time the type of perfectionism that gets us continually disappointed in others because they 'always let us down'. Seeing the best in others makes us happier, because we focus on the real good that is actually there, rather than on what isn't there. And being able to see the best in others is a highly desirable capacity if you are a therapist, a teacher, a manager or a parent - because that 'best' may be in the potential of those others.

Who was it who said: 'Treat a man not as he is, but how he could be'? As we go into 2009, these sentiments may be more important than ever for our world.

Mark's Tip for the Top

And this month I have to say my favorite is. Be more romantic.

Why? Well, Valentine's Day is coming up, of course, but true romance is more than red roses and chocolates (although I'm sure these would be very welcome). Being truly romantic inspires us to extend a special kind of focused high quality attention to our beloved - attention which is somewhat rare in our hurried, consumerist world. Romance can create a kind of magic which can energize both parties and make us braver, stronger, more creative and, of course, more connected!

Testimonials for the Inner Strength Booster Hypnosis Download

"Dear Roger and Mark,"

"Wow, what a WHAMMER! This has gotta be your very best single download"

"This morning I downloaded 'Inner Strength Booster' and have listened to it only once so far. From the first few moments that I started listening to it, I started feeling an infinite inner strength and power surging within me (and to think that it was always there within me but I have never before been able to tap it)! Of course, I have already been using many of your other downloads, including 'Confidence Booster', 'Self-Esteem Booster', 'Manly Man' (another gem!), plus I've been using self-hypnosis for 35 years altogether (but with only moderate success), and all these things have helped to contribute to this morning's experience, but this particular download (Inner Strength) is, I believe, your most powerful one! Congratulations on such a magnificent creation!"

"And create is exactly what this download is gonna enable me to do, to create the wonderful, magnificent life I've been dreaming about all of my adult life! I feel that already (I know it!), thanks to you, guys, and to your fantastic download!"

"I couldn't thank you enough! (But if you ask me to pay an additional ten times what I paid for the download, in order to keep using it, I wouldn't mind at all! Heck, even 1,000 times what I paid, would seem worth it!)
Most gratefully, Angelo Bonilla
"

This story came from Angelo Bonilla who is retired and from New York City, USA.
