Most people need self confidence help at some point in their lives. It is very rare to find
someone who feels great about himself all the time, in every aspect of his life. So if you
need self confidence help, don't be afraid to seek it. You're not alone. Just a little boost
can go along way to making you feel a whole lot better about yourself.
You get out of yourself what you put into yourself. If you subject yourself to constant
complaints and criticism, either from yourself or other people, what you get out of it is
an unhappy person who doesn't like herself. So instead, surround yourself with loving,
non-critical people who will help you remember the positive things about yourself.
Don't compare yourself to other people. Maybe you envy your neighbor's spectacularly
landscaped lawn, done by himself, of course. Or perhaps your co-worker is a better public
speaker than you. It's fine to acknowledge those things you admire about other people, but
don't beat yourself because you aren't exactly like they are. Everyone has different natural
abilities, and there are things you can do that others admire. Make a list of the great
things you can do, and think about what you can do to get the other skills you'd like
to have.
