It can be hard to control jealousy when you feel your partner isn't being honest
with you. Almost everyone suffers from jealousy at some point or another in a
relationship. You love your partner, and your partner claims to love you, but
for some reason you feel suspicious that something isn't quite as it should be.
Either your partner is doing something that makes you feel jealous or you feel
jealous even though you really have no reason to.
If your partner's actions make you feel jealous, you need to talk to him about
them. Open, honest communication can go a long way toward saving your
relationship. Explain what behavior of his hurts you and see what he has to
say about it. He may not even realize he's causing you pain. Maybe he'll be
willing to adjust his behavior to help you control your jealousy. If he isn't
willing to do what you ask-as long as what you're asking him to do is within
reason-you have to ask yourself if the relationship is worth the heartache
it's causing you.
If your partner isn't doing anything to make you jealous, you may be insecure.
Maybe you don't think this guy, or any guy, would actually want to be with
you. This is something you can work on within yourself. You can learn to
control your jealousy by improving your self-esteem.
