Full hypnosis download Fear of confrontation

Fear of confrontation means:

  • bottling up resentments
  • allowing injustices
  • not being honest with others
  • feeling depressed and de-motivated
  • feeling misunderstood and taken advantage of

We’ve been busy updating our material on hypnosisdownloads.com and the latest longstanding download to get a revamp is Overcoming fear of confrontation. This session isn’t designed to turn nice people into curmudgeons (and of course sometimes it is best to let things slide) but to help all those people who are not master of the option, who just cannot bear to voice a dissenting opinion, engage in any conflict, disagree, or be ‘controversial’. Because ‘wanting to keep the peace’ can sometimes become a chronic and negative condition in itself.

Overcoming fear of confrontation: Be more honest

Most people dislike conflict and confrontation, but for some, even the slightest prospect of disagreement can feel very uncomfortable. Perhaps this is because conflict had to be avoided at all costs during early family life, or maybe the ‘conflict phobe’ had been shouted at or bullied and is extra sensitive to any possible discord.

This strategy is known as ‘people pleasing’. People pleasers are driven by a strong emotional drive to avoid conflict at all costs even if it means lying to others that everything is ok really.

Overcoming fear of confrontation is designed to get chronic people pleasers comfortable and confident about standing up for what they believe is right in order to be true to themselves and those around them.

All the best

I can personally identify with this. I had a very HOT political argument with a guy on my computer bbs and it caused me to have a stroke.

I knew I was having a stroke (cold down one side)and I couldn’t speak – so I immediately went to the car and my wife came out a little later. She did not think it was serious until I passed out on the way to the hospital. I woke up a minute later and helped her find the hospital in the darkness. I was in the hospital for 4 days and the did all kinds of checks on me, including mri and said I had no clots but that a small artery in my cerebellum has spasmed.

I was running again with two days of getting out and we got up to two miles a day within two weeks.

The fear of having another stroke (and maybe dying) caused me great anxiety for years. For the first 6 months – I would get stressed and have my wife stop the car and I would get out and run 1/4 to 1/2 mile just so I could relax. I kept myself tired in those days so I could relax.

That was in 1994 and ever since then – I have avoided confrontation. I do have disagreements occasionally but I quit before I get two excited. My blood pressure was low when I had the stroke and it’s well controlled now as I walk 2 miles many days and lift weights. But as a hyper responder, it can shoot up very high when I get excited.

I would like to get back to being my usually easygoing friendly but sometimes not self. I’m going to order this download and see if it can help.

One doctor said you are not going to have another stroke if you have an argument with someone but I don’t believe it – he didn’t believe an argument was what caused the last one. Thanks John Hansen majorhart@sbcglobal.net

PS do you also have one for peripheral neuropathy. I have drop foot on both sides (could be related to the stroke or the type 2 diabetes I have)or drinking a lot over 35 years – I only drink occasionally now, but still have extremely weak shin muscles and ankles – although I can leg press 280 pounds 30 times. Thanks
